Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Computer and Mobile Repair LLC. These Terms and Conditions apply to repair services, diagnostics, device sales, parts orders, custom PC builds, data recovery and transfer services, and other services provided by Computer and Mobile Repair LLC.

By requesting, authorizing, or purchasing any service or product from Computer and Mobile Repair LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Customer Authorization

You must be at least 18 years old, be the legal owner of the device, or have authorization from the legal owner to request service.

You agree to provide accurate contact, device, and ownership information. We reserve the right to refuse or delay service if valid information or proof of ownership cannot be provided.

2. Repair Authorization

By leaving your device with Computer and Mobile Repair LLC or authorizing us to begin service, you give us permission to inspect, diagnose, disassemble, test, repair, and reassemble the device as reasonably necessary to perform the requested service.

All repair services are performed at our store location only. We do not currently provide mail-in, remote, mobile, or off-site repair services.

3. Free Basic Diagnostics

Computer and Mobile Repair LLC offers free basic diagnostics for eligible devices and services.

Some advanced diagnostics, water or liquid damage evaluations, extensive disassembly, data recovery services, or other specialized services may require a diagnostic or service fee.

Any applicable fees will be explained before the service is performed whenever reasonably possible.

4. Repair Estimates and Completion Times

All repair costs and completion times are estimates and may change depending on:

  • Device condition
  • Parts availability
  • Additional damage discovered during service
  • Repair complexity
  • Shipping delays
  • Required testing

Same-day repair may be available when parts are in stock, and the repair can reasonably be completed that day.

Some repairs, including motherboard, logic board, data recovery, and complex hardware services, may require additional time.

If any additional problems or costs are discovered during service, we will attempt to contact you before performing any further repairs.

5. Replacement Parts

Computer and Mobile Repair LLC may offer aftermarket, premium-quality, refurbished, used, or OEM parts when available.

Part availability, quality options, pricing, and warranties may vary by device and repair.

6. Device Testing and Passcodes

Devices may be tested before and after service to verify functionality.

In some cases, we may request a device passcode to perform complete testing. Customers are not required to provide a passcode; however, refusing to provide one may limit our ability to fully test the device.

If complete testing cannot be performed, additional issues may be discovered when the customer returns to pick up the device.

Computer and Mobile Repair LLC is not responsible for pre-existing problems or conditions that could not reasonably be identified during the initial inspection.

7. Pre-Existing Damage

Electronic devices may have hidden, pre-existing, or progressive damage.

Disassembly may reveal or worsen existing problems, including:

  • Cracked or weakened housings
  • Damaged cables or connectors
  • Corrosion
  • Previous repair damage
  • Broken mounting points
  • Damaged motherboards or logic boards
  • Failing batteries
  • Other internal defects

Computer and Mobile Repair LLC is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions or previous repairs performed by another person or business.

8. Data Loss and Customer Backups

Customers are responsible for backing up all important data before submitting a device for service whenever possible.

Repair, diagnostics, software services, operating system installation, factory resets, hardware failure, liquid damage, or other circumstances may result in partial or complete data loss.

Computer and Mobile Repair LLC does not guarantee the preservation or recovery of data.

9. Factory Reset and Disabled Devices

A factory reset or master reset will erase data stored on the device, which may include:

  • Photos
  • Videos
  • Contacts
  • Applications
  • Documents
  • Messages
  • Personal files
  • Settings

Customers are responsible for knowing their Apple, Google, Microsoft, or other account credentials before requesting a reset.

Computer and Mobile Repair LLC is not responsible for data loss or account activation locks resulting from an authorized factory reset.

10. Water and Liquid Damage

Water and liquid-damaged devices may have extensive, hidden, or progressive corrosion.

Water damage services may require a non-refundable diagnostic or service fee.

Computer and Mobile Repair LLC does not guarantee that a liquid-damaged device can be repaired or permanently restored.

Additional problems may develop after cleaning or repair due to corrosion or previously damaged components.

Water and liquid damage repairs do not include a warranty unless specifically stated in writing.

11. Water Resistance After Repair

Opening or repairing a device may affect its original water-resistant seals.

Computer and Mobile Repair LLC does not guarantee that any device will remain waterproof or water-resistant after inspection, disassembly, or repair.

Customers should keep repaired devices away from water and other liquids.

12. Battery Repair Disclaimer

Damaged, swollen, punctured, or overheating batteries may present serious safety risks.

Battery removal or replacement may reveal or cause additional damage due to existing battery swelling, heat exposure, adhesive, or internal component damage.

Computer and Mobile Repair LLC will take reasonable precautions when servicing batteries, but cannot guarantee against damage caused by pre-existing battery conditions.

13. Customer-Supplied Parts

Customers may provide their own replacement parts for certain repair services at our discretion.

Labor charges for customer-supplied parts may range from $35 to $200 or more, depending on the complexity of the repair.

Labor and service fees involving customer-supplied parts are non-refundable.

Computer and Mobile Repair LLC does not provide a warranty on customer-supplied parts and is not responsible for defective, incompatible, damaged, or incorrect parts supplied by the customer.

14. Repair Warranty

Repair warranty coverage applies only to the specific part installed or service performed by Computer and Mobile Repair LLC.

Warranty coverage does not apply to:

  • Accidental damage
  • Physical damage
  • Water or liquid damage
  • New or unrelated problems
  • Customer-supplied parts
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Misuse or abuse
  • Damage caused after the original repair

Warranty coverage is associated with the original customer and device, identified by their serial number, IMEI, or other identifying information, and is not transferable unless otherwise stated.

15. Warranty Seals

Computer and Mobile Repair LLC may apply warranty seals following service.

Removing, damaging, or tampering with a warranty seal may void applicable repair warranty coverage.

16. Manufacturer Warranty

Third-party repairs may affect or void the original manufacturer’s warranty.

Customers concerned about maintaining manufacturer warranty coverage should contact the device manufacturer before authorizing third-party repairs.

17. Custom Gaming PCs

Computer and Mobile Repair LLC offers custom gaming PC assembly and build services.

Customers may:

  • Provide their own compatible parts, or
  • Select a budget and work with our team to choose components.

Custom PCs can be designed for gaming, streaming, content creation, professional applications, and other performance needs.

Build fees may range from $125 to $500 or more, depending on the complexity of the system.

Typical custom PC completion time is approximately 1–3 weeks, depending on parts availability, shipping, system complexity, and testing requirements.

All custom systems are tested before customer pickup.

18. Data Recovery and Data Transfer Services

Computer and Mobile Repair LLC provides data recovery and data transfer services for eligible storage devices, including:

  • Hard disk drives (HDDs)
  • Solid-state drives (SSDs)
  • External drives
  • USB flash drives
  • Other supported storage devices

Data recovery and transfer services are non-refundable.

We may use professional third-party software during the recovery process.

Computer and Mobile Repair LLC does not guarantee that all or any data can be successfully recovered.

We are not responsible for data loss, corruption, incomplete recovery, or files that cannot be accessed.

For privacy and legal reasons, we do not search through recovered data to locate individual personal files. When possible, recovered data is transferred in full to the customer’s selected storage device.

19. Parts Orders and Shipping

Parts orders related to repair services are generally processed within 1–2 business days.

Estimated shipping times may include:

  • Standard shipping: approximately 5–7 business days
  • Expedited shipping: approximately 3–4 business days for an additional fee

Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Customers are responsible for applicable shipping and return costs.

Special-order parts may be non-refundable once ordered, shipped, or installed.

20. Returns and Exchanges

Eligible returns and exchanges must be requested within 24 hours of purchase or repair completion unless otherwise stated in writing.

A restocking fee ranging from $5 to $125 may apply.

Devices must be returned in eligible condition, free from new:

  • Cracks
  • Scratches
  • Liquid damage
  • Physical damage
  • Software damage

Wireless devices must be reset and cleared of any Apple, Google, or other account locks before an eligible return or exchange can be completed.

Prepaid services, activation fees, service fees, installed parts, special orders, and other designated products or services may be non-refundable.

21. Unclaimed Devices

Customers will be notified when their devices are ready for pickup.

Devices must be picked up promptly after service completion.

Devices that remain unclaimed for more than 21 days may be subject to a $5 daily storage or service charge.

To the extent permitted by applicable law and after any legally required notices or procedures, devices that remain unclaimed may be considered abandoned and handled accordingly.

Computer and Mobile Repair LLC reserves the right to retain possession of a device until all outstanding charges have been paid.

22. Payment

No upfront payment is required for standard repair services unless otherwise stated.

Payment is due in-store upon completion of the service and before the device is released to the customer.

Special-order parts, custom builds, advanced services, or other services may require deposits or advance payment.

23. Limitation of Responsibility

Computer and Mobile Repair LLC is responsible only for performing the specific services authorized by the customer.

We are not responsible for unrelated, hidden, pre-existing, or progressive problems that were not caused by the authorized repair service.

While every reasonable effort is made to perform services carefully and professionally, no repair service can guarantee against future component failure, unrelated device problems, or problems resulting from previous damage.

24. Right to Refuse Service

Computer and Mobile Repair LLC reserves the right to refuse service when reasonably necessary, including situations involving:

  • Suspected stolen devices
  • Inability to establish ownership or authorization
  • Unsafe devices
  • Abusive or threatening conduct
  • Illegal requests
  • Devices that present unreasonable safety risks
  • Services outside our technical capabilities
25. Changes to These Terms

Computer and Mobile Repair LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions.

The version in effect at the time a service is authorized will apply to that service unless otherwise required by law.

26. Agreement to Terms

By requesting, authorizing, or purchasing any service from Computer and Mobile Repair LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms apply to diagnostics, repairs, part replacements, device sales, data recovery and transfers, custom PC builds, water damage services, software services, and other services provided by Computer and Mobile Repair LLC.
